a whole lot of lately and Something to celebrate

Can I try to catch you up on us lately? I hope you dont think our lives are boring and uneventful because I never blog because they are most definitely full of fun and adventure. haha. okay sometimes they are boring, but I'll try to leave those parts out!

Tuesday David turned 26 years old! We had a little family celebration on Sunday at my parents where we ate his requested dinner of pork tenderloin and new red potatoes and chocolate bundt birthday cake. Then on his actual birthday he had to work so when he got off I had a little present for him plus i stocked the fridge with fav diet soda and bought mint chocolate chip skinny cow sandwhiches. Then we went to outback for dinner. It seems he is always craving a bloomin' onion!

Something else we are sooo looking forward to celebrating it our three year anniversary which will be this July. David has a work meeting in Cancun next month and I am stoked to be able to tag along! David's worried I will be bored around the resort while he's in meetings during the day, I told him I thought I will be juuust fine :)

This one isnt so much something I am celebrating even though I am so thrilled its almost summer, but this is my last year with a family I have grown to love and learn so much from. This job came along at a time that I really needed it, and I hope in some way I was able to touch their lives like they have mine. I would never dare say I think I'm completely prepared to have my own children, but I feel better prepared after the past two years with this sweet family. These are just a couple pictures of a day the two youngests and I went to the park.

I bet those of you who know our big news thought this post was going to start off a little different, but I have saved the best for last! Indeed David and I are expecting our first baby! Most definitely something to celebrate. I am 16 wks already. Time is seriously going by so fast. I have a doctor's appointment Monday and then the next time I go in will be to find out the gender of the baby! Sorry no pictures. I have some on my phone, but dont know how to upload them onto my laptop. Next time I will. promise.

SNOW WAY!

I updated! It's probably a bad sign that it took me a couple tries to get on this thing because i couldnt remember my password! I just got home from the gym, davids at a chuch meeting and I just felt the need to post some fun pictures ( Yes i do get the urge to update when something cool has happened but as you can tell actually doing it is a totally different thing!) I love pictures. I love posts with pictures. Sometimes i jUst skip the words and go straight to the pictures. They tell the story best. So here's our backwards story of the past month or so. Literally the pictures are backwards in sequence. Dunno how to fix it so here it goes...

These first set of snow pictures are from monday. We had so so much fun. The boys got the four wheelers out and us girls and kids went sledding down a monster hill on cookie sheets.

Is it time?

for an update? Okay so its waaay passed time but i think its been very clear im pretty terrible at blogging so i no longer feel the need to explain :) So much has happened and im not even about to try to catch up, but we had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year, and Valentine's day! wow i amm bad! We also went to the Circus and had a soccer tournament. We are both still working full time, fully enjoying our calling in Primary, I've been going to the gym regularly and still babysit on the weekends, and David has just started going to a Brazilian jujitsu class twice a week which he absolutely loves. He also plays soccer once a week so our week fills up pretty fast. We are looking forward to summer for so many reasons! A few weekends in a row we had beautiful weather and took our sweet pups to the dog park

No excuse

So I'm not sure why blogging is so hard for me! There really is no good reason why I'm well over two months behind. If anything I should have more time on my hands since I am not in school this semester. Since I am not in school you may be asking what AM i doing? well I took a nanny job for a sweet sweet family and looking after four kids I guess keeps me pretty busy. Now as for David he is still busy with work. They actually sent him to Florida for a trainning meeting this past week.. tough right?

We have had little visitors, took a trip to the zoo, put in new kitchen floors, enjoyed being outside, and I have also been picking up some babysitting jobs on the weekend for a family I have really grown to love.

Something I forgot to say

Soo I just got home from one of my friends receptions and it got me thinking about our wedding, which was only a year ago, and how when I posted about our one year anniversary I failed to say what an awesome husband I have. If he loves something he will put everything he has into it. He is so enthusiastic about life and learning new things. I love his company and his goofyness. I just love him and he is perfect for me.

and boy does he love his baby girl:)
